Quality part and received on time
After trying a few things to fix the intermittent stall out of our 2004 Expedition (replaced alternator, new battery, checked lines near battery, etc) we did the final step and bought the new fuse box. We hadn't been driving the car at all...and it just sat and got dirty on the driveway, it felt NO love anymore because it SCARED us to drive it. I don't like having to throw my car in neutral and restart it when I'm going 70MPH on the freeways of Southern California. We ordered the part, received it in 3 days, less than 30 minutes to install it...and VOILA! That was it, our baby is back on the road again! I truly believe FORD should have recalled this and fixed it at their cost because if something is happening to THOUSANDS of owners it's the manufacturers defect, but I digress. This is not the first part we've purchased from APC, we bought the alternator and a window mechanism for our Exped as well. GREAT service, helpful tips on the site for install from other customers, we will ALWAYS use APC and recommend to our friends! Thank you for getting us back up and running...fear free! :)
Came in sooner than expected and works like a charm
My expedition would randomly stall and I traced the problem to a faulty fuel pump relay. The relay is a part of the fuse panel and cannot be replaced with Replacing the whole panel. Thankfully APC had the panel in stock and at a better price than the dealership. The part shipping fast and was well packaged. My original panel had a build date sticker of 2003, the new panel from APC has a build date of 2018. From my understanding ford has corrected the issue with the relays in the new panels.
Installation is a breeze. Unhook the vehicles battery. Locate the fuse panel behind the passenger side kick panel. Remove the two nuts “one secures the panel to the vehicle and the other connects power to the panel” disconnect all the wiring harnesses plugs and replace the old panel with the new one.
Rapid delivery and fairly easy to install.
