***Special note for 2007 Models only***

Toyota Changed the clip design Mid Year. The clips that are on your visor now could be wider than the clips on the new visor. You must save your old clips, as Toyota no longer makes the wider clip, and the ones that come with  the new visor will not hold it into the ceiling. If you lose the clips, you will need to get used ones from a salvage yard.

Applies to 2007 models only.

The Original Problem

Do you have a 2007-2011 Toyota Camry? Is the visor falling and obstructing your vision?

The original sun visors installed in these cars had a major problem. The visor will not stay up and it constantly falls while driving or running over a bump. Its not just your car, every Toyota Camry manufactured in these years has the same problem. The support rod loses tension over time, and begins to lose grip.

 Our Solution
We are selling a completely revised Genuine Toyota Visor that will not fall, and will not lose tension. The new visor is completely redesigned internally by Toyota engineers to never fail again. This is the 4th and Final revision of this visor, and has excellent reliability compared to the last 3 versions.
Be wary of sites selling the old versions for a low price, you will have the same issue with the visor falling within a few months of purchase.

  • Matches your interior fabric color exactly.
  • Comes sealed in Genuine Toyota Packaging.
  • Factory Fresh Direct from Toyota
Repair Procedure
Disengage the 4 claws from the sun visor plastic
Remove the plastic bracket cover and set aside for later installation.
Carefully pull straight down on the Sun visor sub-assembly and remove it from the opening in the metal roof panel. f the attaching clips remain in the metal roof panel, pinch the clip tabs together and rotate away from the connector. (if equipped with a vanity light), then remove the clips and reinstall the clips back into the sun visor bracket.
Installation Procedure:
Partially install the bracket cover into the sun visor bracket making sure both temporary set claws are engaged.
NOTE Make sure to ONLY partially install the bracket cover into the bracket during installation, because damage to the clip, sun visor mount or Roof sheet metal tabs may occur if the bracket cover is fully in the sun visor bracket
1. Install the sun visor assembly into the opening in the sheet metal roof panel by grasping the sun visor assembly with two hands and pushing the bracket upward
2.Make sure the sun visor bracket is flush with the headliner all away around the perimeter of the bracket and then push the bracket cover upward to engage all 4 claws at the same time.
3.Confirm the proper operation of the sun visor and the operation of the vanity light.
